Vols., Bristoe Station, Va., Oct. 31, 1863, in part: "…the Army of the Potomac seems to be scattered round in one place and another…the army will have to winter in the vicinity of the Rappahannock another winter. There has been another report round here…that…Dan Sickles was going to supersede Genl. Meade…it is just the style…Chas. W. Manning…". Minor toning, else VG
