Magnificently gold embossed, bright red leather cover and including two important articles on Judaism: "ODD FELLOWS OFFERING FOR 1851." Contributed…by members of the order, their wives and sisters. Pub. N.Y. by E. Walker 1851. (Singerman No. 1185 only two copies located). Although Singerman mentions only the story "the Iberian Exodus" (of Jews from Spain) by Fanny Green, there is a second Judaica article by famous American Jew "M. N. NOAH" titled "The Joy of the Law." Book contains a number of superb plates and an especially elegant color frontispiece. Exc. + condition. The handsome cover shows some wear around edges only. Gilt edge pages.
