1854 dated single sheet printed broadside 8½ x 11½ (blank reverse) with bold heading "PROSPECTUS FOR ISSUING THE FORM OF PRAYERS ACCORDING TO THE GERMAN AND POLISH CUSTOMS…EACH IN EIGHT VOLS…HEBREW AND ENGLISH…BY ISAAC LEESER OF PHILADELPHIA." Short printed description with prices and: "…each volume will be furnished at two dollars, unbound, payable on delivery…the editor refers to his other works already in circulation as a guarantee that the public may expect ample justice…" Offers dealer discounts if ten or more copies ordered and binding available for extra fifty cents. Bottom half with columns (not completed) for subscriber names, address and whether "Polish" or "German." Normal light aging. Tiny partial tear on centerfold margin not affecting any words; few tiny tatters on left margin, otherwise exc. (Not listed in Singerman)
