Archive of 9 letters, approximately 12 pages, mostly octavo, 1930's, to Joseph H. Hertz, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire, 1913-1946. A prolific writer and lecturer, Hertz received correspondence from many notable leaders of British Jewry. Included in this group are signed letters from Louis Golding, Leslie Hore-Belisha, Philip Guedella, Cecil Roth, and Lord Lionel Rothschild. The lot also contains numerous contemporary newspaper clippings associated with these personalities. Overall Fine condition.
