Lot of 6 maps showing various locations in the Caribbean and South America, mid-18th century, England. Included are maps of Jamaica, 5" x 8", Martinique, 8" x 10 1/4", The Caribbee Islands, 9 1/4" x 13 3/4", The City of Vera Cruz, Mexico, 6 1/4" x 7 1/2", Guadeloupe, 5 1/2" x 8", and South America, 10" x 10". An inset in the Vera Cruz map gives an account of Spain's trade with Mexico, emphasizing the colony's export of gold and silver. All maps are lightly toned and sound. Fine condition.
