Exceedingly rare L.S. signed by all three members of the revolutionary triumvirate of the newly independent Argentina, BERNARDIO RIVADAVIA, FELICIANO ANTONIO DE CHICLANA and MANUEL DE SARRATEA, 2pp. 8vo., Buenos Aries, Apr. 9, 1812 in Spanish to Colonel Domingo French concerning the transfer of carriages and horses and expressing confidence in French's abilities for "the continuation of such an important objective." Also signed by Secretary NICHOLAS HERRERA. Light soiling and dampstaining along extreme margins, otherwise very good. A fine document for the first year of Argentina's independence.
