Blank book inscribed with poetry, approximately 200 pages, octavo, early 19th century. Nearly three-quarters of the leaves contain beautifully penned transcriptions of poems by the famous and obscure. The creator of this collection of verse inscribed the first page with "M.M. Webb September 1821". Among the well-known poets represented are Byron, Coleridge, Longfellow, and Scott. The inside pages are lightly aged. The cover shows significant wear and is nearly separated from the spine. Overall Good condition...Plus; Loose manuscript poems, approximately 30 pages, small octavo, early 19th century. The sheets vary in terms of preservation, averaging Good condition.
