Scrapbook, approximately 100 pages, octavo, ca. 1900. An incredibly diverse gallery of clipped newspaper and magazine portraits showing thespians, politicians, royalty, and military figures. Many of these images pre-date the collection by several decades. A veritable Who's Who of world history. Where else could one find Robert E. Lee and the Shah of Persia together? Considerable wear to the cover and chipped edges on many leaves. Good condition.
