4.5" x 5.75" black-and-white negative image of a river boat laden down with bales of cotton, appears on a glass plate, 5" x 7". "Compliments of Sam. G Smith, 1919", is printed along the bottom edge. Image is in terrific condition, capturing a scene from the American South of the early 1900s.
