c. 1940s, Political Editorial Cartoons by "Halladay," Lot of 4, Providence, RI, Choice Very Fine. 15.5" x 14.75" cartoonsÑthe original artwork as prepared in black ink, conte crayon, blue pencil and white gouache. Signed by the artist, Halladay. These cleanly executed political cartoons were prepared for publication in the "Providence Journal," and reflect a few political issues of the day. Minor soiling and wear are evident on some of the cartoons, but all are still perfectly suitable for framing and display. (4 panels)
