Book, THE LOG CABIN SONG BOOK, by James D. Taylor, 40 pages, 3 1/2" x 5", 1840, Cincinnati, Ohio. From the campaign that placed William Henry Harrison in the White House comes this pocket book of rousing political lyrics. Included are "The Jackson Men", "Old Tippecanoe's Raisin'", "The Hero of Ohio", and "Harrison and Liberty". Each of these songs are set to suggested popular meolodies of the day. The front cover shows, of course, a log cabin. Worn green paper wraps with internal foxing. The back wrap has separated from the spine. Overall Good condition.
