Typed Letter Signed, “Herbert Hoover” 1p. octavo, January 23, 1917, on “The Commission for Relief in Belgium” letterhead, addressed to Grant Squires, it reads “I am glad to have so vivid a reminder of our early efforts in 1914 and hope I shall be able to see you before I leave. I shall be pretty well engaged during the next two or three days but I shall hope to be here two or three weeks an can arrange a date later...” Matted with photograph of Hoover. VG.
