GLENN, John Herschel (b. 1921) American astronaut, the first American to orbit the Earth on February 20, 1962 and also became the oldest man to travel in space. Inscribed Signed Photograph, “Best regards to Cecil Stoughton - J.H. Glenn Jr.” being a color 8”x10”, of him and John F. Kennedy. With verso is inscribed by White House photographer Stoughton “John Glenn & JFK - who rarely wore a hat but did this time at Cape Canaveral, Fla - while honoring Glenn.” Fine.
