A program by President John F. Kennedy from the July 4, 1962, 54th Annual Governors' Conference held in Philadelphia. President Kennedy signed in ink, on the front cover of the program. President Kennedy gave a speech at the conference and no doubt signed the program while he was at the Conference. The cover of the program states "CITY OF PHILADELPHIA IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 54TH ANNUAL GOVERNORS' CONFERENCE PRESENTS 186TH NATIONAL OBSERVANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY, WEDNESDAY, JULY 4, 1962, INDEPENDENCE HALL". The inside of the program lists the main "ADDRESS" speech at the conference was given by the "HONORABLE JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES". The inside of the 4 page program has much information about the conference activities. The program is 5 ½ x 8 ½ inches in size and is in very nice condition.
