Originally political cartoon by Gib Crockett of the Washington Star, 13-1/4”x17”, used in the Friday, June 12, 1970 edition, this editorial cartoon feartures Nixon, as barkeep, making an “Executive Shakeup” for the confused public. With caption “This is sure to pick you up!” It refers to the Wally Hickel incident, where Secretary of Interior Hickel was dismissed for criticizing the administration’s failure to address the concerns of young people. Item is framed and in fine condition.
