Stamped brass belt plate, 2" x 3", ca. 1870's. The eagle and shield device on this plate was adopted from the 1851 sword belt plate of Civil war fame. Missing attachment loop and tongue. Nice brass patina, Fine condition...Plus; Two brass eagle buttons, 1860's. Non-dug General Service cuff button and coat button. The latter has a slight push on the face. Fine condition.
