Watercolor on paper, 4-5/8” x 6-1/2 of a buffalo herd grazing on the plains, by Jean MacLane (1878-1964) American watercolorist, painter, illustrator. Signed, "J.MacL", lower left. Nice rendering depicts group of six buffalo grazing on a western plain, skull in foreground, circa 1910. Old period frame. A lovely gem of a painting by an artist who won many awards, is represented in numerous institutions, and exhibited extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
