Autograph Letter Signed by Henry W.B. Mechlin, 7th Cavalry, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions at Little Big Horn, where “With 3 comrades during the entire engagement courageously held a position that secured water for the command.” This letter 1-1/2p. octavo, January 13, 1909, reads in part: “...I still am in favor of your Annuity Bill...I could meet and join with the comrades at their Reunion and have avote...am very sorry that you was defeated try again and I hope I may be able to attend and give you my support...” VG.
