Two page short note entirely penned in his neat hand with full autograph signature on printed letterhead "Governor's Island / New York" (his newest station after return from Cuba). Thanks Albee for sending on "…the slips [news clippings] which came this morning…[and] don't fail to come to see me the first time you come to New York…" Exc. +. Fine example of his hand and especially significant with his comment on the then raging controversy.
