Cornelius Glenn, Albany resident. An agent for Henry Van Schaack of Kinderhook, who had apparently contributed money to the support of Burgoyne's troops after the General's surrender Oct. 17, 1777. Autograph Letter Signed "A. C. Glenn" 1p. , dateline Albany, Apr. 24, 1778, to Henry Van Schaack. "The Certificates I presented for payt. And would actly [actually] have been paid had not Col. Lewis been prevented By a resolve of Congress to pay no more of the Accts. Concerning British prisoners, they having appd Commissioners of Claims to settle the remainder of the Accts., were [where] & when those Gentn. will proceed I shall endeavor to find out after which you shall have further on this subject…"
