A complete and authentic issue of the Frank Leslie's, March 22, 1862, 16pp., never bound, untrimmed. The complete front page reports "The Naval Battle in Hampton Roads" which is complimented by the two panel center spread with two horizontal engraved images of the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimac . the top engraving shows the "First Naval Battle" March 8, 1862. The lower engraving shows "The Second Naval Battle" March 9th. This is a scarce issue with dramatic Engraved images of the Monitor and Merrimac.
