November 19, 1782-Dated Revolutionary War Period, Partly-Printed Document in Red and Black titled, "New South-Sea Annuities." Joint-Stock Transfer Certificate, London, Choice Crisp Extremely Fine. Dated in 1782, issued during the American Revolutionary War Period, this impressive South-Sea Company Red and Black printed Certificate measures about 6.5" x 5.75". This rarely encountered Joint-Stock Transfer Certificate reads, in full: "Received of Sarah Dorothy Brickenden the Sum of Fifty Eight pounds being in full for One Hundred pounds in the New Joint-Stock of South-Sea Annuities, this Day transferred in the said Company's Books, unto the said Sarah Dorothy Brickenden." Fully completed and signed in rich brown ink on fresh, bright clean laid period paper made with a small British Royal Crown watermark. A lovely high quality, bright and vivid uncommon financial form on the South Seas Company dated during the Revolutionary War.
