Union soldier's letter, 2-pp., written by Hiram P. Teed who enlisted into "A" Co. NY 144th Infantry and was Mustered Out on 6/25/1865 at Hilton Head, SC. Datelined Camp near Cloud Mills (VA), February 18, 1863. Tweed writes about the sex he misses, in part, "I love you more and more the longer I am away from you. I yearn for the loving embrace and caress to make us both feel and enjoy our mutual loving desires. Depending on where I may go, I may consent for you to come with me ... If you can I want to see and feel your great sexual enjoyments. You write of such amorous pure loving desires which I think is a credit to avertuous loving wife ... for we are one flesh and we are to please one another
