Clipped Signature, "Charles K. Graham, Brig. Genl", taken from the bottom of a document and affixed to a second sheet. He fought in the battle of Gettysburg, was severely wounded there and taken prisoner and, after his release, was assigned to command a gun-boat flotilla under Gen. Butler. He was the first to carry the national colors up the James river, took part in the attack on Fort Fisher, and then remained on duty at different points until the close of the war.
