Boyles” 1-1/4p. folio, July 28, 1805, Washington, addressed to William Sims, and reads in most part: “...enclosed I send you an advertisement of yours taken out of the Kentucky Gazette offering two hundred dollars for apprehending Warren Hall and a negro man & mare and lodging them in jail, Hall was brought before me...and confessed that he was the person described...and the Negro & Mare; but that htye were his own the Negro made his escape from the men that apprehended him & Hall yesterday...” VG. ...plus; clipped newspaper advertisement reffered to in the above letter....plus; Autograph Letter Signed, “Wm Murphy” 2p. quarto, October 31, 1805, Wahington, Kentucky, and reads in part: “...Warren Hall was committed to the person of this county at the time and under the circumstances mentioned...Hall was released by our Circuit Judge, on a Habeas Corpus and went off.
