Genl.” being a portion of a letter addressed to “Maj. Genl. A.P. Hill” 8”x6-1/2”, it reads: “forwarded to the Comdg. Genl. of....and he desires me to express his appreciation of your conduct. Hoping that whenever you meet the enemy it may be with like success. I remain genl. yr. Obdt. Servt. T.J. Jackson Lt. Genl.” Framed with image of Jackson. An important War-Date Stonewall letter.
