Large archive of nearly 100 documents pertaining to the 31st Wisconsin Infantry. The regiment was organized at Prairie du Chien and Racine between October 9 and December 24, 1862. The regiment was mustered out on July 8, 1865. Included are returns, muster rolls, general orders, lists of Quartermasters stores, descriptive lists, invoices, and hospital forms. All papers show light aging and normal wear.
