Two small flag fragments, approximately 3”x 1”, one blue the other white, accompanied by manuscript note which reads “Enclosed is a piece of the old flag of the 122 Regt. OVI. It had faded out till it was all of the color you see this piece. The Col. did not know I got this or he would not like me pulling it off, but it was shot into strings at Winchester and Mine Run…” VG.
