CAPP, Al (1909-1979) is fondly remembered as the creator of the comic strip "Li'l Abner", which ran for forty years commencing in 1934. Signed printed drawing, “Al Capp”, 1p. octavo, of a small Al Capp sitting on the knee of a large ‘Lil Abner’, who is sitting on a chair, both are smiling....plus; TLS, August 6, 1965, from Capp’s office transmiting the item.
