Lot of 11 glossy photographs, each 8" x 10", mid-20th century, England. The story of Louis Bleriot's celebrated 1909 flight over the English Channel was recounted in director Zoltar Korda's 1936 film, "Conquest of the Air". Bleriot, played by Charles Lefleaux, is shown here in various scenes from the movie. The prints are pasted into a modern album. VF condition...Plus; Two photographic prints with the real Bleriot as the subject. The first is a former portrait of the flier; the second shows Bleriot with his monoplane at Dover. VF condition.
