Photograph Signed "Holder Horiis" and "Otto Hillig", 11" x 13" in matt, ca. 1931, location unknown. Shown here is the "Liberty", a monoplane celebrated for making the first transatlantic flight to Denmark. Pilot Horiis and passenger Hillig set off in this craft from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland for Europe on June 24, 1931. Oval portraits of Horiis and Hillig are pasted above the plane. Loose matt, some aging. Overall Fine condition...Plus; Photograph, 8" x 10", September 8, 1933, Schenectady, New York. Goodbye Prohibition! A case of Ebling's Beer is on the ground next to a bi-plane emblazoned with the sudsy product's name. A stamp on the verso credits this promotional shot to Koch's Photo Laboratory. Light aging, else VF condition.
