DANIEL BOONE (1734-1820). Legendary American Pioneer, Explorer and Frontiersman whose exploits made him one of the First Folk Heroes of the United States, and REBECCA BOONE (1739-1813). Lot of Two Signed Documents: Autograph Document Signed, "Daniel Boone", 1 page, measuring 8” x 4.5”, no place (probably in present day Maysville, Kentucky, an Ohio River Port), near fine. Manuscript Invoice to Colonel Rochester for surveying his lands and those of Colonel Harts plus "markers" and "provisions." Trival age spots, else nice condition. ... plus, Autogaph Document Signed, "Reback Boon", 1 page, measuring 8.25” x 5”, no place listed. Countersigned by Thomas Gray and James Horsby. This Document being a notice of consent for the marriage of her daughter. In large part, “"This is to Certify that I, Rebekah Boon Have Give my free Concent that my Daughter Polley Lock may enter into Wedlock with Morton Coonce this given from under my hand and Seale this 2nd Day of April, 1796. Reback Boon."
