HENRY, Patrick (1736-1799). Best known for his "Give me liberty or give me death!" speech in 1775, Patrick Henry served as Virginia's Governor, 1776-1778 and again, 1784-1786. Partially printed Document Signed "P. Henry", one page, folio, January 1, 1785, Richmond, Virginia. This land grant deeds 1,000 acres of land to Jacob Myers in the section of Virginia that would become Kentucky. In fact, the Myers land is noted as being in Lincoln County along the "River Kentucky ". Excellent, bold signature. Water stains and repairs along folds, else Very Good condition.
