The brilliantly colored lithograph, 19” x 28” (sight), is in larger ornate gesso original frame. The certificate is not filled out but issued for the Washington Camp. Very graphic and patriotic presentation to include; Washington and Columbus in the center bordered by15 illustrations of American historic and military scenes to include, the Mayflower, the Pilgrims, Washington crossing the Delaware, Scott entering Mexico City, Fort Sumter, Battle of Gettysburg ... and more. On the bottom is the credit line, "Entered according to act of congress in the year 1891 by the J.M. Vickroy Co., in the office of the librarian of Congress at Washinton DC" & Published by the J.M. Vickroy Co., Terre Haute, Ind". The frame has some loss to the gesso, the chromolith is fine.
