Grouping of three large folio accounting tables from Nicholas Quackenbush, to include; Manuscript Document, "Account of Sundries Received in the Quarter Master General Department at Albany…," Albany, 1781, 2 pp. folio. Listing a wide array of articles in the vertical column headings including horses, tools, sleds, oars, paddles, tar, oats, corn, nails and much, much more. The rows are ordered by date -- between March 8 and October 26, 1781 -- and list the name of the person delivering said article including Alexander Hamilton (a horse), Abraham Ten Brock, Isaac D. Fonda, John Van Renselear and others. Paper missing at top right corner. ...plus, Manuscript Document, [Albany], 1782-1785, 6 pp. folio, being an extensive list of monies disbursed by Quackenbush, listing the date of issuance, to whom and for what purpose and the amount in pounds shillings and pence. The disbursements are for all manner of work including transport, wood delivery, carpentry, oar making, "Packing & Salting Beef," "Cutting Batteau Timber," "Service as a Harbour Mater," "Six Barrels of Tar," "Service as a Batteauman," and other necessary occupations. Slaves were even rented out to the quartermaster as Bastian H. Vischer was paid several times for the "Service of his Negro as a Waggoner" as was Abraham Mynderse. Some water staining. ...plus, Manuscript Document, Albany, 1782, 2pp. large folio, being a blank table entitled "Account of Articles delivered by Nicholas Quackenbush..."
