Seldom encountered Stephen A. Douglas "National Democratic Ticket for 1860" campaign ballot. Issued for use in Virginia with at least one elector, George William Brent, of Alexandria, serving the Civil War as an Confederate officer. He became colonel of the 17th Virginia Infantry after enlisting in May 1861. Negligible dampstain, else VG.
