ROBERT TODD LINCOLN (1843-1926). Business executive. Lincoln was the eldest son and only surviving child of the sixteenth president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. He served as Secretary of War under President Garfield and Minister to England under President Harrison. For nearly twenty years after his return from England, Lincoln served as counsel for large business interests including his chief client, George Pullman. Upon Pullman's death in 1897, Lincoln became acting executive and then president of The Pullman Company, resigning the position in 1911. Signed Card. 3 1/4" x 3". "Robert T. Lincoln, Jany. 12, 1924". Choice fresh condition.
