6”W x 7”T x 6”D, printed in black and hand-colored with the “Mariners Arms” shield and ship flanked by two figures, American and British each holding their respective flags. The reverse is the Sailor’s Farewell, “Sweet oh sweet is that sensation, Where two hearts in union meet, But the pain of seperation, Mingles bitter with the sweet. Unfortunatly the pink luster has been lost over the years, still the hand tinting remains strong. c1830, British, VG. (formerly Rex Stark Inventory)
