Cabinet Card, circa 1885. 4.25" x 6". A sepia toned vignette portrait of Lieutenant James Martin Sedberry, who served in the Company "D" Frontier Battalion under Captain Daniel Webster Roberts. Backstamp identifies photographers as "Chapman & Ralph, North Side Gallery, North 2nd Street, Abilene, Texas." Signed on verso "Lieut. J. M. Sedberry Jan 85." Minor damage to upper right corner of photograph. A previous collector has written his name on the verso in modern ink.
