Dangerous Bowie Knife, 10" clip point blade shows scattered pitting, is affixed to the rose wood handle. No make. The folklore history of the Bowie knife is from its namesake. Created by Rezin Bowie in the early 19th century for his brother Jim Bowie, who had become famous for his use of a large knife at a duel known as the Sandbar Fight.
