Legal Document, 8" x 12-1/2" being an Allotment of Dower for the Widow of James Walker, February 22, 1822, Madison County Kentucky. The document provides a sketch of the land, 112 acre as included in the dower. And deeper into the document we also find the three slaves, Beverly a Negro man, Dick a negro boy about ten years old, and David a boy child about two years old.
