“Morse's Rail Road and Township Map of Vermont and New-Hampshire,” 31” x 38,” 1856, Ranney, New York, colored printed, mounted to canvass, overall shellacked, some cracking, fraying at edges with wood supports at either end, VG. The title has profile illustration of Ethan Allen on one side and John Stark of the other. There are six vignettes, three on each side of the map, with New Hampshire historic events. These illustrations with text include; Battle of Bennington; Col. Allen demanding the surrender of Ticonderoga; State-House Montpelier, Vermont; Indian Treaty, 1650; N.H. militia capturing the fort at Portsmouth 1774; State-House Concord, N.H.
