Manuscript Document Signed 8” x 5”, 2p by Bunker Hill veteran ”Solomon Stow,” Dorchester, February 1 776 addressed to Captain [Luke] Drury. Light creases, margins slightly irregular, otherwise very clean and in fine condition. Stow is requesting that he pay ”to Shelomith Stow all the Wages due to me as a Soldier in your Company together with those Orders I have sent…” Shelomith Stow has signed his name on the verso acknowledging receipt of £9.17.6 from Drury, dated Grafton, February 12, 1776. Both Shelomith and Solomon appear to have served with the militia at Saratoga as well.
