Black History related Sepia-toned Photograph of African American young Boy riding an Ox with several other Negro children riding in the open Ox-drawn wagon, as an older man, carrying a rifle, stands to the Ox's right guiding and leading the Ox by its horn, ND, yet appears to be contraband from the war. Very Fine. This Photograph measures 3.75" x 4", no date or place, mounted on a yellow heavy card. The image depicting several young African American children and a man all wearing their hats, perhaps the man is their father. This image shows a young boy up front riding the Ox, with several other children riding behind in the open Ox-drawn wagon. An older man stands to the Ox's right, guiding and leading. The bottom right corner tip of the backing card has a minor chip.
