Inventory Management System is a service for collectors, dealers, and institutions
with inventory from 50 to 5000 items. HCA's IMS service will assign a unique inventory number to your item. Each item is assigned a collecting category, date of origination, date of purchase, vendor and cost. Our professional writers will catalog each item of your inventory with a description that accentuates the pertinent information of the item. Each item's description is then coupled with a professional image in a high resolution format. The inventory is then compiled in our proprietory database and is ready to be output in an array of Management Reports including, but not limited to, summary by collecting category, summary by vendor, summary by cost, and summary by origination date. The format of the Management Reports are hard-copy or digital output, in the form of a catalog or report. In addition, our database is Internet ready.
The benefits of IMS to our clients are many. Our clients enjoy the ability to request output by a collection focus (e.g. collecting category, date of origination,) and output format of their choice (e.g. hard-copy report, Internet). IMS is dynamic and expandable to allow for the addition of future purchase, or the subtraction of past items, resulting in an "up-to-date" inventory. IMS Management Reports are absolutely confidential and will only be provided to the client or entities designated by the client. By utilizing the output formats, your collection can be presented as a whole or individually, whether, you would like to donate your material to a museum or historical society, or sell your material at a collectibles show or at auction, IMS will provide you with professionally written descriptions and digital images of your property.
