LINCOLN, Abraham (February 12, 1809 - April 15, 1865) served as the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. Document Signed, Abraham Lincoln, appointing Nathaniel Low, Junr. to Deputy Postmaster at Dover, New Hampshire, March 28, 1861, 15-1/4 x 11-1/2 minor folding evidence, 1pp., fine. Also signed by William H. Seward as Secretary of State. Low became Post Master 1863-65. The Lincoln signature is a strong 9 of 10.
