Unusual facsimile sheet, 1pp. quarto datelined Richmond February 1865. List includes expenditures for 13 individual entries which include CSA President Jefferson Davis, Major-General John C. Breckinridge who was named CSA Secretary of War on February 6, Captain J. C. Whitwell, and the Confederate States Naval Hospital. The expenditures for President Davis include nine repairs one of which is for a "nurse rocker" probably for rocking his infant daughter Varina Anne who was eight-months-old. Breckinridge's $30 expenditure was for repairing a bedstead and furnishing hooks &c. Other listings include crape dress, sword, tub, pillow cases, crib & mattress, cottage bedstead, repairing trundle B. Stead, repairing mhg single leaf table, etc. Interesting piece. Very good condition.
