War-date Union soldier's Autograph Letter Signed by William T. Benjamin, 4th Delaware Infantry, November 19, 1862, 3pp. octavo, on patriotic stationary with patriotic cover, and reads in part: "...We stayed in Baltimore until about 12 oclock at night & reached Washington about noon where we got a dinner. About 2 oclock the Regt got ready to march for 'Dixie'. We passed the capitol a beautiful building of white marble. We passed through Washington & crossed the long bridge about 1 1/2 mile long, then we were in Virginia..." Very good condition.
