War-date newspaper clipping containing "General Order No. 1" issued at New Albany, Indiana, August 18, 1864, pertaining to the "practice of furnishing liquor to soldiers" and that due to these orders not being followed any person found in violation will have their property seized. ...plus; Receipt from the Daily and Weekly Ledger, for having the order printed in the paper which cost the army $3.
