Two Newspapers, Harper's Weekly, New York, each 16pp., complete issues, disbound, October 28, 1871 and November 4, 1874, rough at binding edge, occasional edge chip, else VG. From the October 28, 1871 issue, front cover engraving "The Great Fire in Chicago--Group of Refugees in the Street,' with several interior engravings, "Chicago In Flames--The Rush for Life over Randolph St. Bridge," center spread, "Chicago In Ruins" is a large overview showing the city in flames, and more engravings. From the November 4, 1874 issue, front cover, "Chicago In Ruins-Laying The Cornerstone of the First Building After the Fire," and 3 other fullpage engravings of fire scenes, plus a dramatic center spread on the "Ruin & Desolation Of Chicago".
